I am a professional longarm quilter. I have been sewing since my early teen years. I began quilting 30 years ago when a coworker encouraged me to take a beginning quilt class she was teaching. That was the end of garment sewing and the beginning of a new found love of quilting. Evenings and weekends were spent raising children and quilting. It was not unusual for me to be sewing into the wee hours of the morning. How can you stop piecing until you can truly see how it all comes together!?!? I would take my pieced quilt tops to my longarm quilter and would marvel at how the machine worked and how my quilter turned out such beautiful quilts. I began dreaming!!

 

I started renting a longarm at a quilt store to complete my own quilts. After 40 years of working my day job I retired and followed my dreams. I purchased my own longarm machine and began working in the field I truly love, quilting. I have an American Professional Quilting System (APQS) Millie longarm machine with Quilt Path.
